Freestyle Motocross (FMX)
It is a motor sport that is a part of motocross. Everything began when Jeremy McGrath starts to do whips, and at the finish do a trick called a nac-nac.
The first Polish rider was Bartek Ogłaza.
At the World Championships in competition -step-up Bartek won seven times. His record jump was 9,6m and that took place in Basel.
Riders use modified motocross bikes with after market parts to lower weight and improve performance. Riders will often shave down the seat foam to give a wider range of motion and better grip on the seat.
Many riders will also shorten the width of the handle bars, to make it easier to put the legs around the bars, like such tricks as the ‘heelclicker’ or ‘rodeo’.
The biggest FMX event in the world: Red Bull X-Fighters, NIGHT of the Jumps, the X Games, Gravity Games, Big X, Moto-X Freestyle National Championship, and the Dew Action Sports Tour.
