The ramps used for freestyle motocross.
Ramp about bending radius of 8m.
The most common ramp for freestyle motocross. Provides a perfect parabola flight. Stroke is high and gives you plenty of time to do the tricks.
Ramp about bending radius 9m.
Ramp „nine“ – with a bending radius of 9 meters. Ramp is set at a distance between 23 and 25 meters, and sometimes even more. It gives the smaller parabola flight but allows further jumps.
Other ramps and obstacles.
Superkicker – was created at a time when the riders started do backflip. Set it at about 11-13 meters. Ramp is tall and strongly. It gives a power that makes it easier to do a rotation.
Quaterpipe – this sets the ramp next to the landing. It is still higher than superkicker and it’s almos straiht. It is used to perform such tricks as 540 or bikeflip.
Wallride – an obstacle that is the “wall” and a rider after a small stroke goes up a vertical surface.
Funbox – obstacle mainly to have fun on the front or rear wheel.
US Ramps – Ramps in America are different from the European. Generally, they have other gbending- last meter is straight. On the one hand they take parabolas, but in the states distance ramp starts with an average of 24 meters from the landing. In the US the riders really like long flights.
